Paying your Bill with Online Banking

Paying your a.p.i. Alarm bill with online banking is quick and easy!

You can pay your a.p.i. Alarm bill online with all major Canadian financial institutions.

Please ensure when setting up a.p.i. Alarm as a payee that you follow your bank’s instructions when entering your 13 or 14-digit customer account number, some banks require the hyphen/dash to remain in the customer account number you enter in the payee details, others do not. Most bank’s will automatically format your customer account number when entering or they’ll refuse to accept it if not formatted correctly. If you have issues entering with the hyphen/dash, try removing it.

Important – If you can’t find us listed in your online banking, please try the following:

  • Search for API ALARM INC as the payee.
  • In some banks, our name may appear as a.p.i. Alarm Inc.
  • Use your 13 or 14-digit account number when setting up the payment.
  • For National Bank customers: If your account number is 13 digits, please add an “X” at the end to make it 14 digits.

If you need assistance making this payment, you can also find the details on your bank’s website, or contact them directly and they’ll be happy to walk you through configuring a new payee and setting up a one-time or recurring bill payment.
